Pierluigi Casale
Biography:
Pierluigi Casale is Post Doctoral researcher in the ACTLab research group. He is Electronics Engineer (B.Sc. and M.Sc.) from the University of Rome "la Sapienza". He received the M.Sc. in Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence from the Computer Vision Center, Barcelona, Spain, in 2008 and the Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Barcelona, Spain, in 2011. His research focuses on approximated machine learning techniques and distributed learning methods with particular application in Healthcare and Assisted Living projects. Further interests are related to data mining and big-data analysis.
