Steven Houben

Biography: 

Steven Houben is a PhD student at IT University in Copenhagen under supervision of Prof. dr. Jakob Bardram. He is a member of the Software Development Group and the Pervasive Interaction Technology Lab (pIT). Steven holds a M.Sc. in Human - Computer Interaction from Hasselt University and completed his master’s thesis “Activity Theory Applied to the Desktop Metaphor” and research internship at the Expertise Centre of Digital Media (EDM) under supervision of Prof. dr. Kris Luyten. As part of the iCareNet project, he will focus on building and evaluating an activity-based pervasive service infrastructure for hospital environments.
